Acronis Disk Director lets you add multiple partitions on a disk in addition to its backup and restore features. Does anybody have any experience with the new Acronis Disk Director? Is there any compatibility problems with GPT disks?

I just bought Crack For Acronis Disk Director 11 and it didn’t recognise my NTFS disk. I had to re-format it as GPT and that was fine. I’ve used Acronis Disk Director 11 before successfully and I couldn’t remember any compatibility problems. I thought that GPT disks weren’t supported?

It is very easy to use to restore from a backup taken with Acronis Disk Director 11 – and I can see no difference in functionality with the two products. It has been a while since I did a disk backup and clone, but I found Acronis Disk Director 11 easy to use and it works quite well. I would recommend it for people who are relatively new to disk cloning.

My Version 12.5.2 has the same problem with the DOS and Windows 7 Option to Convert to GPT and FAT32 are gone. I had to convert to GPT and FAT32 by selecting the bootable disk in command line and then convert it to GPT and FAT32. Then from there I was able to set all my partitions. I have a macpro2.2 with 4gig ram and 2700 rpm. I would love to try Acronis because you can boot off acorn drive, after cloning, whatever was on the cloned drive. What a plus for me. I used to run Acronis, but like so many computer users have, they changed. Instead of improving their product to allow us to recover, they make it harder to recover! I know there are numerous other companies that use Acronis, and I will be reporting this to them as well. I am an IT tech, not a computer “use”. I feel that the Acronis 2017 file recovery tool is a great product, if used on a real working drive containing recoverable data – but I had to trash at least one drive because of the program’s reset button.

Acronis Group has been producing amazing software for years, some of which (like Partition Inspector) is still on my Windows 7 laptop. But their new Cloud Backup software still needs more than a few tweaks. Partition Inspector does a good job with identifying partition issues. Acronis disk director is still one of the best disc cloning tools out there.

Umm…this one is a bit more hard to answer. Part of the problem is that Microsoft won’t allow users to test pre-release versions of the Windows operating system (see above quotes about the lack of a “try before you buy” system), so I’m forced to try and project the future based on what’s been going on in the past. I don’t use Acronis Product, but I’ve read that Acronis Disk Director is very good for someone who needs to clone a drive and both the software and the Windows Recovery Console won’t work. It is a good tool, but the end result is not “cloning”, it is “restoring” – and that means data recovery. Sometime in the future, I’ll have to evaluate that software.
