First, it means that the user is tied to saving any video/screen captures in the folder the app is running from. Not very flexible. Secondly, and most importantly, it has to do with the fact that the video editor is using the Screen Shots as the base for the video files and it does not allow the user to create a video file outside of the “Rescue Files” folder. The only way to create a video file out of the Screen Shots is to first save the screen shots in your normal video editor and then import them as a video sequence into the video editor. I would like to see the default setting changed to allowing the user to specify the folder for any saved screen/video captures.

There is not much that is not already covered in FastStone capture, most of the time you need to save as a video format such as WMV and there is no easy way of converting the footage. The only thing it lacks at this time is the option for me to control the capture mouse, and this is something I have on my home computer and it would be nice to have it on this as well. On the plus side you can delete all audio from video clips, if you want, but there are some glitches like if you record something fast enough the audio will record with the video the following frame will be missing. If your video is panning too fast I have noticed that you might lose the last frame. The picture sometimes slows down as you start to record if the computer is already a little sluggish.
